Celebrate Spirit Week!

Dear Seventh Grade Parents and Students,

This coming week in literature, my Seventh Graders will continue to read about Greek Gods and Heroes.  They will also continue to apply the A.X.I.S. Method for the analysis of literature, with respect to The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.  They will work on finishing their latest writing assignment, too.  They will review the Cornell System of Note Taking, which they learned at the beginning of the school year.  They will work in their grammar and punctuation workbooks.  In addition to this, they will continue to watch The Importance of Being Earnest for Literature on DVD.

This week in Drama Class, my Seventh Graders will rehearse for a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare. Please encourage your teenager to study his/her cues and lines.

Reminders: 🙂
