The Crowning of Mary!

Dear Seventh Grade Parents and Students,

CONGRATULATIONS to our OMMS students: Jenna Bell, Brooke Benjamin, Stella Ferro, and Athena Woessner, who gave BRILLIANT PERFORMANCES in the show The Little Mermaid, last Tuesday, at The Star Theatre.  WHAT TALENT!  I was particularly blown away by Jenna, who was the STAR of the show.  What an AMAZING VOICE!

This week in literature, my Seventh Graders will finish reading The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.  The rehearsals for A Midsummer Night’s Dream are going well.  Please remind your child to study his/her cues and lines.  Thank you.  I will assign the costumes this week, so there will be a lot of excitement in the air.  We will return to Literary Terms this week.  My Seventh Graders finished their Wordly Wise workbooks this week.  Yahoo!

This week in history, my Seventh Graders will read about the history of China.

Reminder: The Crowning of Mary

  • The Crowning of Mary will take place on Friday, May 20, after Mass.  All are welcome to attend.

The homework for this week is as follows:

  • Study your cues and lines for A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go. ~ T.S. Eliot

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a GRAND week ahead!

Cheers,

Miss Susan
