Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Dear Seventh Grade Parents and Students,

Last week in literature, the Seventh Graders listened to half of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare.  This coming week, I will finish reading the second half of the play, in preparation for their performance in June.   In addition to this, they will work on polishing and correcting their power point project with the computers and their laptops.

THANK YOU, SEVENTH GRADE PARENTS, for allowing my Seventh Graders to bring their laptops to school, they are a GREAT asset to their education, not to mention, a lot of fun.

This past week in history, my Seventh Graders watched a documentary about the famous people of “The Enlightenment.” This week in history, the Seventh Graders will prepare for Part 1 of the History Test of Chapter 20, which will take place on Wednesday, March 25.  Please encourage your child to study for this test.  Thank you. Part 2 of the History Test will be given the following week, on Thursday, April 2.

Reminders:

1. Maria Montessori Day/Shadow Day will take place on Friday, March 2o.  I look forward to seeing you all, then.

2. Don’t forget to order your Yearbook 2015, in order to avoid disappointment.

The homework for this week is as follows:

  • Finish your power point project for Monday, March 16.
  • Study for Part 1 of the History Test of Chapter 20, on Wednesday, March 25.

The happiest life is that which constantly exercises and educates what is best in us. ~ Hamerton

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a grand week ahead.  Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Cheers,

Miss Susan
