No School on Friday!

Dear Sixth Grade Parents and Students,

The “Stage Plays” are due on Wednesday, March 11, therefore, there will be no Wordly Wise homework this coming week, to allow for time to follow the guidelines, write, proofread, and do a very good job in writing the stage plays.  This should take some pressure off my Sixth Graders, regarding their homework. This week in literature, my Sixth Graders will continue with their study of the children’s stories of Oscar Wilde and the poetry of William Wordsworth.  In addition to this, they will also work in their journals and classroom workbooks.

This week in history, we will review for the next History Test, which will be based on the history of India.  We will also watch short documentaries about the history of Ancient India.

Reminders:

1.  It is not too late to order your Yearbook for 2015.  Your children may give their order forms and love notes to me, and I will process them.

2.  No school next Friday, due to Professional Growth Day.

The homework for this week is as follows:

  • “Stage Plays” are due on Wednesday, March 11.

The child can only develop fully by means of experiences in his environment.  We call such experiences ‘work.’  ~ Maria Montessori

Enjoy your weekend and have a grand week ahead.

Cheers,

Miss Susan
