Happy Mothers’ Day!

Dear Seventh Grade Parents and Students,

HAPPY MOTHERS’ DAY!  I wish all our mothers at O.M.M.S., a very happy and special day, full of love, fun, surprises, and lots of laughter.  You are all AMAZING MOTHERS!  Every day, but especially today, MOTHERS’ DAY, you deserve to be pampered and put up on a pedestal of happiness.  ENJOY!

A big THANK YOU to all the parents who were involved in hosting Night at the Mission.  It is a huge undertaking, and every year you do an INCREDIBLE JOB!  MANY THANKS!

This week in literature, I will continue to read aloud the story of Hamlet by William Shakespeare.  In addition to this,  the Seventh Graders will work on finishing their in-classroom workbooks, and prepare for the next Literary Terms Test.  Rehearsal for A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare, is moving forward with fun and ease.

This week in history, the Seventh Graders will prepare for their History Test on Wednesday, May 14.  In addition to this, they will give their presentations regarding People of the Enlightenment.

Reminder:

The Crowning of Mary will take place after Mass on Friday, May 16.  All are welcome to attend.

The homework for this week is as follows:

  • Study for the History Test on Wednesday, May 14.
  • Study for the review spelling test of Lesson 7 in Wordly Wise, for Thursday.
  • Prepare for your presentations.
  • Study your lines for A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.  ~ Abraham Lincoln

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and have a grand week ahead.

Cheers,

Miss Susan
