A Christmas Carol on Monday evening!

Dear Sixth Grade Parents,

‘Tis the season to be jolly!  La! La! La! La! La! La! La! La!La!  I am blogging early this week, as I want to make sure that you know the procedure for the play on Monday evening, December 10.  A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens will be performed by your very talented children on the stage in The Keon Center, at 6:30p.m.  Your child should arrive no earlier than 6:00p.m. and no later than 6:30p.m., if possible.  Please invite your relatives, neighbors, and friends.

  • Your child should come in full costume, unless he or she needs to wear a jacket.  The jackets will be on the stage for him/her upon arrival.  Please bring a change of clothes for your child, as the costumes must be returned to me after the performance.  Thank you!
  • Regarding make-up:  The girls should wear foundation, eye-shadow, mascara, and lipstick.  The boys should wear foundation and lipstick, but it is not mandatory.
  • The rehearsals were GREAT this week (lots of laughs and hard work, too), so I am keeping my fingers crossed for Monday night.  The dress-rehearsal is on Monday morning in the McKeon Center (all morning).
  • Paul Friedman will videotape the play, so please make sure to put in your orders with him on the night of the play.  His work is SUPERB!

Thank you once again for the incredible iPAD.  It is so much fun and it is also a unique educational tool.  I love it!

A loving heart is the truest wisdom.  ~ Charles Dickens

I’m looking forward to seeing you all on Monday evening.  Have a GREAT weekend and a GRAND week ahead.

Sincerely,

Miss Susan
